Congregational Care
Shepherd Groups
Members of Shepherd Groups pray and care for each other, especially in times of injury or illness. They also get together periodically for a time of fun and fellowship to get to know each other better. Each Shepherd "flock" is led by at least two individuals or a couple known as "shepherds" who help organize and communicate with the flock.
Helping Hands
This group of members is available to be called upon by church family to give assistance with minor repair jobs. Call the church office to find out how to become a part of this helpful group.
Prayer Fellowship
The Prayer Fellowship meets each Thursday morning at 10am in M-2 to pray for our church family, community, nation and world. Names are given us to pray for specifically, and then we send cards of encouragement to let people know of our care and concern.
Prayer Shawl Ministy
If you are a knitter, or would like to learn to knit, you are invited to be part of our Prayer Shawl Ministry. On the first Wednesday of every month at 3:30 pm in room M-2, this group meets for fellowship and prayer. Every shawl that is knitted is given to someone who's going through a tough time, usually with illness, injury or surgery. The shawls are a tangible reminder of our church's love and prayers.
