Presbyterian Women's News
(Bert Phillips, PW Moderator)

Presbyterian Women

All women of the church are encouraged to participate in our Presbyterian Women's Organization, which provides opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth and mission service. Four groups called "Circles" get together once a month to study Bible lessons, have fellowship, worship and pray together. These circles meet regularly as follows:

Ruth Circle - first Monday at 7pm

Martha Circle - first Tuesday at 10am

Sarah Circle - first Thursday at 1pm

Lydia Circle - Second Tuesday at 7pm (younger women's circle)

Prayer Shaw Ministry - second Thursday at 11:00 am, to knit prayer shawls.

Stitchery Group

If you are interested in needlework, you are invited to join our Stitchery Group led by Linda Abel. It meets on Tuesday mornings at 11 am and Tuesday evenings at 7 pm. A form of embroidery called "Hardanger" is Linda's specialty.

First Sunday Lunch

On the first Sunday of every month, following the 10am worship service, you are invited to our First Sunday Lunch in Tartan Hall. Delicious food in usually catered from one of our fine Franklin resturants for which a donation of $6 is requested. Most months, a program follows the meal.
