Kim Watkins has been the Parish Nurse at First Presbyterian Church since March 1999. She is a Registered Nurse and also a Certified Diabetes Educator. She is originally from Kernersville, NC and has lived in Franklin since 1992. She is married to Todd and they have three children, Jason, Emily, and Elizabeth.

Kim works in her church office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm. She is also employed part-time in the Community Education department at Angel Medical Center. When not working, Kim enjoys reading and gardening.

As the Parish Nurse at First Presbyterian Church, Kim seeks to share God’s healing love by promoting the health care of the church community through: health assessment, health counseling, health education, referrals to outside agencies, phone calls, and visits.
